Sunset Cove is a resort village on the eastern shore of Last Mountain Lake, in the Rural Municipality of McKillop No. 220. Visitors reach it by Highway 322.
The community became an incorporated resort village on January 1, 1983. Today it is run by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator.
